At last AHA Board meeting in Denver in March,  the Executive Board presented a proposal to change the Nat’l board to into 2 boards: 1, the executive board, which would handle operational over-site and 2, the Regional board which would have over-site over shows and competitive events.  As this would limit the authority of the Regional directors and delegates, this was opposed by the majority.  Myron Krause wanted this proposal to go to convention this year.  Gary Zimmerman stated that registrations and memberships are falling at a rate of 5 per day.  Revised committee report left all sport horse committees free standing.  Next AHA Board meeting is scheduled for May 18^th and 19^th, 2007.
